The 600 state assembly (Dewan Undangan Negeri) constituencies in force at Census 2020, covering the 13 states (the Federal Territories have no state assembly): the Peninsular 2018, Sabah 2019 and Sarawak 2015 delimitations, so Sarawak has 82 seats, not the 99 of its 2026 redelineation. From ElectionData.MY's Malaysian Election Corpus (MECo), a public-domain (CC0) digitisation of the Election Commission's (SPR) gazetted delimitation maps; it is not an SPR publication. The authors validated it as gap- and overlap-free, with seat areas within about 5% of SPR's published figures except some very small and coastal seats, and describe it as accurate for analysis, not cadastral use. Seat numbers (N.01...) repeat in every state, so join on code_state_dun, DOSM's state code plus the seat number (e.g. '1_N.01'), as in DOSM's Census 2020 statistics.

Administrative districts (daerah) of the Malaysia, 2020. Built from the Department of Statistics Malaysia's district layer (github.com/dosm-malaysia/data-open), the geography DOSM publishes its Census 2020 statistics on: 160 districts across all 13 states and the three Federal Territories. The layer is generalised for dashboard display, so outlines are coarse, and a few internal lines between neighbouring districts in Sabah and Sarawak are misplaced: those districts' areas differ from DOSM's published figures by 12-23%, while each neighbouring pair's combined area agrees. Fine for joining statistics and choropleth mapping; not for measuring area or deciding which district a point near a line falls in. The 2025 district changes (166 districts) are not included. Join on code_state_district, DOSM's '<state>_<district>' code (e.g. '1_1').
