A ranked list of garden centres and florists across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, enriched with local affluence data. The dataset combines business locations with census-based household deprivation statistics to identify retail sites in high-income areas.

How this was made

This dataset was created by merging business locations for garden centres and florists in Greater Manchester and Cheshire with local deprivation statistics. We calculated an affluence score for each location by determining the proportion of households in the surrounding area that are not deprived in any dimension. Each business was then ranked based on this score to identify locations in high-affluence areas.
